CSE Cables has announced the addition of NXS screened pre-wired conduit cables to its extensive range of stock.
Branch Manager Corrina Cook said her decision to stock vast quantities of this cable is due to the fact that the Nexans Alsecure NXS is set to become one of the most sold cables in the UK due to the new wiring regulations BS7671, replacing twin and earth and some SWA cable installations.
ALSECURE® NXS cables are halogen-free and flame retardant, with minimal smoke emission, they are designed to protect people and property from the emission of toxic gases and deadly fumes in the event of a fire.
ALSECURE® NXS cable is suitable for industrial and domestic wiring applications as it can be buried in concrete, attached to brick, stone, metal, wood and behind plaster. If the cable’s aluminium sheathing is penetrated by a sharp object (e.g. nail) it will trip a circuit breaker.
