A2F Cable Gland
Type A2F for unarmoured cable. Brass flameproof for internal or external use with cable where an armour clamp is not required, with a single seal giving moisture proof protection, to BS6121 (where applicable). Can be supplied with Shroud and Locknut if required.
B.A.S.E.E.F.A. approval has been granted for Hazard Groups 11A and 11B in accordance with BS4683 part 2.
S and SS denotes small cable entry size
Brass and aluminium are not compatible metals and contact between them can result in electrolysis action, therefore precautions must be taken when connecting Brass Glands to Aluminium enclosures or to the Aluminium armouring of cables.
